Camino Flower Shop and Cocomont were still setting up the ballroom when we arrived, but one glance was all it took to tell us “this is going to be SOME wedding.” Gorgeous standing centerpieces filled with lilies and roses, fragrant and dripping with crystals, graced every table. Thoughtful touches like handcrafted gift bags and framed pictures of Jasmin and Logan told us how much love and effort went into the preparation for their big day. We were filled with joy and excitement even before catching up with the bride and groom!
Jasmin and Logan chose Sunflower Field for their engagement session, which is always awesome because that means we get to work with the couple at least once before their big day. You know, a shake-down session if you will – because you only get one shot at those wedding photos! And oh, did Jasmin and Logan prove that practice makes perfect. It was no challenge to capture the true love between these longtime sweethearts, or the affection of family and friends that surrounded them on their wedding day. For example: Jasmin’s mom greeted us with hugs and happiness, and even sent us home with a gift bag – the sweetest gesture. Logan’s dad and uncle serenaded the room during dinner with a beautiful a cappella duet that brought many a tear to the eye. And the fun and carefree bridal party did their best to keep the couple laughing and the dance floor hopping. One of the funniest moments of the day was watching the groomsmen turn their short sleeve undershirts sleeveless with hunting knives and dull scissors. Project Runway, eat your heart out!
This is the kind of wedding we all want to have. You couldn’t have made it more perfect. Thank you Jasmin and Logan for inviting Sunflower Field to document your wedding day. It may have been a hot August night outside, but that dance floor was way HOTTER! Congratulations and keep on dancing.
