Erica and Dean were married at the Wedgewood David Girard Vineyards in September, on the same day that Erica’s beloved grandparents had tied the knot, decades earlier. The story of her grandparents’ romance shared during the ceremony in an emotional story by Erica’s aunt (who was also officiating) was a beautiful way to commemorate them and a wonderful way to begin Erica and Dean’s newly minted marriage.
This was a young, fun wedding, with prankster groomsmen, a bride that couldn’t stop beaming ear-to-ear, and a groom who loved to work the camera (a left over from his days as a cheerleader and a model!) It began with Dean fighting to fit the ring on Erica’s finger in a lighthearted moment during the ceremony, and ended with a saucy garter toss and raucous dance routines from some of the groomsmen. In between we got to make the most of the setting sun from the terrace of the reception hall and heard speeches from two very proud fathers.
I loved how adoring this couple were of one another, how they stole private glances, smiles and kisses in the midst of crowds, and that they really leaned into the moments where they were able to come together and celebrate their connection.
Congratulations, Erica and Dean and warmest wishes for a long and happy future together – just like Erica’s grandparents.
