Anna and Justin were married on a warm summer afternoon in June at the Wedgewood Sequoia Mansion in the Sierra foothills. Although the couple lives just north of San Diego, they opted to make the journey to Placerville for a beautiful mountain wedding instead of having a beach wedding closer to home. Justin was so emphatic about getting married somewhere with tall trees that he personally requested to have his groom portrait taken in front of a towering redwood, which ended up making for a very fun photograph! We love it when our couples are fun, creative and engaged in the photography.
We couldn’t stop gushing over the Anna’s ethereal gown and veil. She positively glowed in the late afternoon sunlight. Brides, take note: sheer, flowing fabrics and sunlight are a match made in photography heaven! It was so touching to see the joy and excitement on Justin’s face when he saw her in the First Look.
Anna and Justin’s wedding day was filled with their love for each other as well as an abundance of love from all those surrounding them. From Anna’s mom + dad walk down the aisle, to Anna’s father’s touching tribute to his father-in-law (100 years and still dancing!), to the invitation for guests to join in on the father-daughter and mother-son first dances, the evening was filled with joy and happiness from start to finish.
Congratulations Anna and Justin on your marriage. We wish you all the best as you move forward in life together. Thank you for inviting us to document your wedding day!
